Attending church each Sunday and applying what you hear is vital to the Christian walk, but our call is to tell others about God’s saving grace. Wyldewood has a variety of ways for you to fellowship with other members around the person and work of Jesus Christ. We have small-group Bible studies, community outreach, ladies’ activities, men’s prayer breakfast, and church functions, i.e., outings, movie night, Harvestfest, and banquets. We strive to CONNECT with one another in a way that will cultivate the love by which the world recognizes we are truly the disciples of Jesus.
The focal point of the services is the teaching and preaching of God’s Word, but surrounding these service times are many other areas in which you can CONTRIBUTE. Some of the opportunities include singing with the choir, joining the orchestra, becoming involved with various children’s ministries, or participating in visitor hospitality. Volunteers serve on a rotating basis throughout the year. If you would like to help in any of these areas, please email us or call the church office at 734.854.1611.
Care Visiting shut-ins, providing meals for the sick, sending a card with a kind word, encouraging children at the Ronald McDonald House of Toledo, and participating in various community outreach projects are only a few of the ways Wyldewood extends CARE to those in need both within and outside the congregation. If you would like to be involved in these ministries, please let us know by emailing us or contacting the church office (734.854.1611).
Your primary tool for accomplishing many of the opportunities to CONNECT, CONTRIBUTE, and CARE is the ConnecTeam ministry. Please prayerfully consider ConnecTeam as a vital part of your ministry to love God by loving people.
